We have now added up to date, ULEZ compliant vehicles to the our already rapidly expanding fleet.

Our thanks to Sparshatts of Kent, our Mercedes Benz dealer, for their assistance in supplying us with vehicles built for our specific needs. All new vehicles meet TfL’s clean air regulations having all been fitted with up to date Euro 6 engines.

The Mayor of London’s ULEZ regulations have meant that we needed to update some vehicles in the fleet to continue working in London.

London introduced the UK’s first ULEZ in April 2019. The plan is to combat air pollution by discouraging drivers from entering the most polluted areas in unsuitable vehicles.

The ULEZ is the area within London where all vehicles will have to meet strict emission requirements or face a daily charge to travel. All Vans and Lorries have to be fitted with low polluting Euro 6 (for Vans) and Euro VI (for HGV’s) engines in order to travel into London without the need to pay the fees which are £12.50 for Vans or cars and £100 for any vehicles over 3.5 tonnes. This is a huge cost to any business, and in order to continue servicing the businesses of London we had to invest in newer, up to date vehicles. Our entire fleet is now made up of the lowest polluting vehicles available on the market today.

The Mayor of London has plans to extend the ULEZ boundary in October 2021 to the North and South Circular roads.
